The Rowe Funeral Homes, a joining of The Rowe Funeral Home and the Nutting-Rowe Funeral Home, have been operating in Litchfield County for more than 60 years. The Rowe Funeral Home is a continuation of the former Torrant Funeral Home of Meadow Street in Litchfield and the Nutting-Rowe Funeral Home was formerly the Nutting Funeral Home of Migeon Avenue in Torrington.

The funeral homes have been owned and operated by Mr. Bradford H. Rowe, a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer with 30 years experience. In January of 2007, Jeffrey R. Thurston was appointed President and Managing Director. He has been a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer since 1985.  Mr. Rowe and Mr. Thurston both served on the Connecticut State Board of Examiners of Embalmers and Funeral Directors collectively for twelve years. Looking to the future, together Mr. Rowe and Mr. Thurston, along with their support staff, continue to provide traditional funeral services, cremation services and life celebrations for families of all backgrounds in Litchfield, Torrington and all the surrounding towns.
